A slow morning in Ubud

The secret to Bali isn't the sunset — it's the morning. Before the island wakes up, there's an hour that belongs to whoever claims it.

I claim it at Klasik, in the courtyard, with whatever the roaster is most excited about. Later, when I want to remember why I moved here, I book Locavore and eat the island one foraged course at a time.

Slow down enough and Bali stops being a beach and starts being a pantry.
